Emmerson Resources Limited (ASX: ERM) is an Australian gold royalty and mineral exploration growth story. The company has built a large portfolio of projects in the Northern Territory (NT) and New South Wales (NSW) to support its strategy.
In the NT, Emmerson has a dominant position in the Tennant Creek Mineral Field (TCMF) which contains many advanced, high-grade projects. Emmerson has two strategic partnerships, split between the north and south of the TCMF, which are each building new mineral processing plants and funding $5 million in exploration to build the mining pipelines to feed the plants. Emmerson has royalty or profit share arrangements in place for all mining projects which provide low risk funding streams for its exploration and business development programs.
The company also holds five project areas in the Macquarie Arc in NSW. The region hosts some of Australia’s most valuable copper-gold deposits like Newcrest Mining’s Cadia-Ridgeway deposits and Alkane Resources’ recent Boda discovery. Emmerson is systematically exploring and drilling project areas with potential for similarly large copper-gold deposits.
