ZipTel was due to update the market on its ongoing discussions with the ASX on Friday, and it did.

At 7.28pm at night.

The company has now requested a third extension of its voluntary suspension from trading and confirmed that it has a second set of questions to answer from the ASX.

The first set of questions were eye-wateringly tough.

The discussions with the ASX started after an announcement that ZipTel (ASX:ZIP) made to the market about a deal with an Indian partner which saw its share price rocket from 1.8c to 4.3c.

ZipTel is due to provide another update to the market on Wednesday, August 30.
