Schrole’s long relationship with Rio Tinto is testament to the high quality training it provides.

Global SaaS and ed-tech company, Schrole Group (ASX:SCL), has extended its contract with Rio Tinto for 2022, making it the 15th consecutive year of  course delivery relationship between the two companies.

Schrole will continue to provide Rio, the world’s second largest metals and mining with around 45,000 employees, with on the Job (OJT) training courses across Rio’s sites in 2022.

Schrole has been providing Rio Tinto with training courses since 2007.

This year, Schrole Develop will  provide more than 80 courses to over 700 staff across 18 Rio Tinto sites.

This is approximately 38% higher than the minimum 64 course bookings received in December 2020.

As a result, Schrole expects the final value of the OJT bookings from Rio Tinto in 2022  to be materially higher than the ~$800k in 2021.

Apart from Tinto, Schrole Develop also has a number of Tier 1 clients that include BHP Group, Fortescue Metals, and prestigious international schools such as the     International School of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

A complete ecosystem of products

Schrole is positioned as a complete Human Resources Software as a Solution (SaaS) solution, which comprises recruitment, background checks, onboarding, relief teacher management and professional development.

The business model predominantly targets the international and domestic education sectors.

The company’s flagship full SaaS product suite called “Schrole HR” comprises five Human Resources SaaS offerings, including Schrole Connect and Events, Verify, Engage (to be released Q1 2022), Cover, and Develop.

Schrole Develop, which will deliver the training program for Rio Tinto, is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), and has been registered to deliver nationally accredited qualifications under its scope since 1997.

The Schrole Connect platform meanwhile, is Schrole’s flagship product that gives users a complete Human Resources SaaS solution.

It combines services such as recruitment, background checks, onboarding, relief teacher management, and professional development.

The platform can also rank, sort, interview and manage job applicants for the education sector by finding and choosing the right candidates.

The Schrole Events platform, which is an online recruitment event platform launched in September, has been seamlessly integrated into Connect.

It provides interactive and  regionalised  online recruitment events for Schrole’s network of  schools and teachers.

Schrole has just delivered a strong year-on-year growth in sales, underpinned by record sales of the Connect platform in November.

Schrole’s CEO Rob Graham puts the success down to educating and bringing awareness of its products to potential customers.

“As we invest in our sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth and awareness of our product, it has led to increased opportunity to not only drive new sales, but also cross-sell other products within the Schrole portfolio,” Graham said.
