US-based Anson says the assays include a lithium grade of 253ppm, which is approximately 148 per cent higher than the lithium grade of the brine from its Cane Creek 32-1 well.

The company is currently developing an industrial scale in-field pilot plant to produce lithium carbonate for supply to lithium ion battery cathode manufacturers.
