The local government recently renewed the exploration licence on the historical, zinc-rich and polymetallic Guajarez mine for another three years, paving the way for a critical future work program.

Variscan plans to hit the ground running with soil geochemistry, geophysical surveys and an initial drilling campaign in the near future — work that will surely keep the team busy as it simultaneously advances the high-priority Novales-Udias Project in northern Spain.
