What’s in store for 2024: Corella Resources

Stockhead’s Ashtyn Hiron sits down with Corella Resources (ASX:CR9) CEO Jess Maddren to close the books on 2023 and gain a sneak peek into what’s around the corner.

Maddren says Corella has been moving through the company’s strategic goals at quite a pace, with the major highlight being the confirmation that the Tampu project can produce high quality, low contaminant high purity alumina (HPA) with a simplified flow sheet.

“This is supporting what we are seeing throughout the industry with alternatives to the historical flow sheets of HPA by using kaolin as a feedstock,” she says.

“We also completed our upgraded mineral resource estimate which defined just under 25Mt, a fantastic outcome which then flowed into supporting our scoping study.”
