Special Report: Deeper, more targeted RC drilling will kick off at the historic Niagara gold project in December, GTI Resources (ASX:GTR) says.

In September, GTI completed a shallow (~45m depth) 52-hole aircore drilling program over the eastern part of the Niagara gold project.

Assays returned a peak result of 2.78 grams per tonne (g/t).

GTI has now analysed multi-element assays from this completed first pass drilling, which suggests that gold is related to anomalous (low grade) bismuth, tungsten and tellurium.

This info – along with previous gold assays — has helped GTI vector in on some targets for deeper drilling, set to kick off next month.

Niagara’s gold potential

GTI is just 4km away from the formerly unloved Kookynie gold project, where exceptional drilling results have sparked a re-rating event for explorers Metalicity (ASX:MCT) and Nex Metals (ASX:NME).

GTI now holds a contiguous land package covering ~5km of the historical Niagara gold trend, within the central part of the Norseman-Wiluna greenstone belt.

This newly consolidated and underexplored belt, which hosts numerous historical shafts and workings, represents a huge opportunity for GTI.
