The G’Day Eh podcast bridges the Pacific focusing on the two countries where most mining exploration companies are listed, Australia and Canada.

The world depends on discoveries by exploration companies in these countries to achieve the energy transition targets and maintain or grow production of other metals.  Their role is critical, and these are their stories.

In this episode, Pete sits down with Greg Cochran, managing director at Aurora Energy Metals (ASX:1AE).

Aurora Energy Metals is an Australian company focused on the exploration and development of its Aurora Energy Metals Project in Oregon, USA. The project hosts a defined uranium resource and is prospective for lithium.

The company completed an independent review of historical uranium metallurgical testwork. The results were highly promising, demonstrating that simple physical beneficiation techniques could be effective. This could lead to an overall reduction in capex and in opex due to the rejection of low-grade material, resulting in a lower mass to chemically process.
