Antipa keeps Minyari gold hits coming with resource update in sight

  • Antipa hits more high-grade gold at the Fiama and Minyari deposits
  • Results include a 53m intersection at 1.9g/t gold for 100 gold-gram-metres 200m below surface
  • An update to the 2.5Moz resource is on track for Q4

Special report: Another batch of assays from Antipa’s ongoing drilling campaign at the Minyari gold-copper project in WA’s Paterson province has painted a picture of a system with more growth ahead.

Drilling at the Fiama prospect hit more high-grade gold, extending mineralisation down-dip and along strike.

One of the best results from the program so far includes a 1m hit grading 32.6g/t gold and 0.24% copper from 233m, part of a broader intersection that racks up more than 100 gold-gram-metres.

This new intercept sits 100m down-dip from a previously reported result of 23m at 7.1g/t Au highlighting strong continuity of the high-grade system at Fiama.

Drilling at the Minyari deposit also delivered a wide, high-grade intersection of 28m at 1.9g/t Au and 0.17% Cu from 392m, including shorter intervals up to 7.5g/t Au.

PFS drilling complete

All up, about 290 holes have been drilled for more than 23,000m.

A solid 35,000m is planned with assays still rolling in as Antipa (ASX:AZY) continues targeting new discoveries and resource extensions.

Meanwhile, the PFS resource definition drilling component is now complete – 81 holes for nearly 18,000m – with assay results returned for 71 of those holes totalling 13,838m.

Sterilisation drilling to support future site infrastructure layout is also underway.

Resource update on track in Q4

AZY managing director Roger Mason said these latest results, particularly from Fiama and at the Minyari deposit, further highlighted the strong growth potential within the broader Minyari Dome system with several very high-grade gold intersections including a 422g/t gold hit.

“When coupled with previous results, which included a standout 520 gold-gram-metre hit, the consistency across Fiama and Minyari continues to reinforce the scale and quality of the Minyari Dome development opportunity,” Mason said.

“With a high-impact phase of new-discovery drilling ongoing and key PFS workstreams continuing at pace, we are set for an exciting finish to the year.”

Phase 2 assay results are expected over the coming months, including the remaining outstanding resource definition holes, and the phase 2 drilling is expected to be completed in mid-December.

An update to the already impressive 2.5Moz resource, incorporating all 2025 drilling data, is on schedule for completion this quarter.
