The Schwandt family of 14 children, is now 15 thanks to their latest arrival – Maggie Jayne Schwandt. And, finally – Maggie is their first daughter.

Yep, in the last 28 years they’d had 14 sons straight.
The proud father, Jay Schwandt called Maggie as “the greatest gift we could imagine”.
However he admits “some lifestyle changes need to be made” as their house was “exactly what you would think a house with 14 brothers is like”.

ALKANE RESOURCES (ASX:ALK) -22%
Alkane shares dropped this week despite another positive exploration update earlier this week.
Last year, the company had major exploration success at its Northern Molong porphyry project (NMPP) project in the Lachlan Ford Belt.
It has continued exploration activities ever since and this week it told shareholders new drilling depicted a large porphyry system 400m wide, 1km long and more then 1.1km deep.
