Weekly ASX small cap wrap: Who charges for chicken salt anyway?

Australians are up in arms after a poster on Reddit complained about being charged 40c for some chicken salt on their fish and chips.
It is not hard to see why they are outraged. It’s clearly one thing to pay for a packaged portion of sauce and something else entirely for a little dash of salt.
Another poster felt that it was grounds for an angry mob to form though questioned how big an area it would cover thanks to social distancing.
Here are the small caps that added a little taste to the market which was up this week.
ASX SMALL CAP WINNERS
Cassius Mining (ASX:CMD) +158%, Skin Elements (ASX:SKN) +152% and Metalsearch (ASX:MSE) +129%
Shares in the Africa-focused explorer rocketed this week though it was unable to offer any explanation for why.
Third-placed and fourth-placed Skin Elements and Metalsearch also shrugged their respective shoulders in response to a similar query from the ASX, saying they were not aware of any information that could explain the recent trading in their securities.
Galan Lithium (ASX:GLN) +100%
Resource upgrades are normally a good thing for explorers and it is certainly true for Galan when it cranked up resources for its Hombre Muerto West (HMW) project by a massive 65 per cent to 2.3 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) at 946 mg/l Li.
This takes its total resource in Argentina’s Hombre Muerto basin up to about 3Mt LCE at 858 mg/l Li, the third largest publicly disclosed lithium brine resource in the area.
