Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10 highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every stock has commenced trading.

Today is the final day of June reporting season, which means quarterly 4C filings are pouring in thick and fast.

As a result, more of the price action than usual may be driven by whether trading updates exceeded or missed expectations.

Stocks highlighted in yellow have made potentially market-moving announcements.

Here are the 10 leaders to start the day:

Strategic Elements (ASX: SOR) — a pooled development fund back by the federal government — was one of the early movers to start the day, but the gain wasn’t related to quarterly results.

SOR shares rose by more than 20 per cent after the company announced the launch of a new artificial intelligence and robotics company, Stealth Technologies Pty Ltd.
