Mantle Minerals (ASX:MTL) (formerly Caeneus Minerals) has restarted early stage gold exploration at the Mallina project, immediately north of De Grey’s (ASX:DEG) monster 10.6Moz Hemi discovery.

Drilling has pulled up an eyewatering 28m at 34.81g/t gold from 204m outside the current resource at the Rox Resources (ASX:ROX)Venus Metals (ASX:VMC) Youanmi project JV in WA.

Zinc explorer Variscan Mines (ASX:VAR) also reported high grade drilling results outside the main resource at San Jose, including 22m at8.16% zinc and 0.23% lead.

And VR stock Vection (ASX:VR1)has been awarded a major ‘pilot’ order of ~$1 million for a top ten largest defence contractor in the world.

This initial pilot forms part of a larger tender of up to ~$30 million. If the pilot proves successful, the VR1 expects to finalise the subsequent order awards within the next six months, subject to final agreements and negotiations with the end client.
