On Stockhead today, the 12 ASX 10-baggers you may have missed, why Evergrande wobbles are a ‘game-changer’ for ASX miners, and a $127m potash failure.

But first, the day ahead.

Today the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) will issue the detailed labour force estimates for the month of September. Of most interest are the demographic and regional labour market market estimates.

Commsec says the ABS will also release the Weekly Payroll Jobs and Wages report for the period to September 25 with lockdown in many parts of Australia complicating analysis of the state of the job market.

WHO’S LISTING?

Two companies will make their debut on the ASX today.

iTech Minerals Ltd plans to list at 11:00am AEDT and is set to acquire the Eyre Peninsula Kaolin Project, the Campoona Graphite Project, and the Franklyn Kaolin Project off Archer Materials (ASX:AXE).

Lykos Metals Limited will list at 2:00pm AEDT. The company raised $12m at 20c and is focused on battery metals exploration and development in Europe.

Reuben Adams spoke to co-founder Milos Bosnjakovic about what he hopes to achieve with the Balkans polymetallic project developer.

Near the front of yesterday’s winner’s list was one of three new IPOS on the ASX, all of which gained ground.

The best performer was Alvo Minerals (ASX:ALV), which has raised funds to explore its ‘Palma’ VMS project in Brazil, which has a resource of 4.6 million tonnes at 1.0% copper, 3.9% zinc, 0.4% lead and 20g/t gold. ALV shares rose more than 50% on debut.

Shares in uranium company A-Cap Resources (ASX:ACB) also ripped higher by more than 50% on no news.

Resources and energy stocks largely populated yesterday’s winner’s list, while cancer screening device maker Truscreen (ASX:TRU) held its gains after flagging an expanded distribution pathway into the Chinese market through a domestic distributor for its TruScreen Made in China device.
