Dimerix (ASX:DXB) announced a $20 million placement to fund Phase 3 trials for the application of Dimerix’s proprietary DMX-200 formula in the treatment of FSGS kidney disease.

The placement also brought on board Andrew Chapman’s Merchant Funds Management as a major institutional investor.

Nexus Minerals (ASX:NXM) and Australian Mines (ASX:AUZ) had the big news at the small end of the resources sector with Nexus hitting 14m at 8.8g/t at its Wallbrook project near Kalgoorlie and Australian Mines announcing an offtake deal with battery making giant LG Energy Solutions for its Sconi nickel and cobalt project in Queensland.
