Nex Metals (ASX:NME) ripped higher in morning trade and kept climbing to finish more than 100% higher, after scoring some high-grade gold hits at shallow depth at ‘McTavish’ — its prospect which forms part of the Kookynie project in WA.
Metalicity (ASX:MCT), NME’s joint venture partner in the project, also rose strongly to close 27% higher.
Outside of resources, lighting company FOS Capital (ASX:FOS) led the pack after impressing investors with a positive trading update.
