What got you talking yesterday

A deal for Senex (ASX:SXY) for its gas with packaging manufacturer Orora (ASX:ORA) got tongues wagging on the Stockhead Facebook chat forum.

Yesterday’s winners

A deal with iconic Italian motorcycle brand Ducati sent shares in Vmoto (ASX:VMT) up 77 per cent to 14c on Wednesday.

Vmoto will launch a two-wheel electric vehicle special edition for Ducati, to be manufactured and distributed by Vmoto under a worldwide licensing agreement signed with Ducati.

Nine-figure funding sent Havilah Resources (ASX:HAV) shares up 45 per cent to 22c at close.

The company secured $100 million from OneSteel, a member of the GFG Alliance.

WhiteHawk (ASX:WHK) shares closed up 36 per cent to 9c, after it picked up another contract with the US government.

This new sub-contract, unrelated to that deal, will see WhiteHawk provide an enterprise-wide cyber risk management framework to the primary contractor, currently unnamed but based in Virginia. The entire contract is worth about $2.8 billion.

Yesterday’s losers

Talga Resources (ASX:TLG) snuck out its quarterly report well after the market closed on Tuesday, and that led to its shares falling 27 per cent to 52c.

That was despite what managing director Mark Thompson called “another highly successful quarter”.
