Several ASX stocks copped price queries led by NuEnergy Gas (ASX:NGY) which finished up 157 per cent.
The company said it had nothing to report and the approval of its Tanjung Enim gas project in Indonesia was still in progress.
Diversified renewable energy play MPower (ASX:MPR) climbed thanks to its half yearly financial results.
Biotech Actinogen (ASX:ACW) announced CEO Bill Ketelbey had quit after six years at the helm.
