What got you talking yesterday

On Twitter it was all about gold. After lagging for a couple of weeks, gold prices have rebounded in recent days.

Perfect timing for Chalice Gold Mines’ (ASX:CHN) to make a spectacular discovery that’s been compared to Sirus Resources’ Nova nickel discovery. On Monday it more than doubled and Reuben Adams caught up with Chalice’s own Alex Dorsch.

On a similar topic, in our Facebook small and micro cap chat group it was about diamond miner Lucapa Diamonds (ASX:LOM). Lucapa has often grabbed headlines in recent years with spectacular discoveries but it has been unable to escape the brunt of the bear market — more than halving in a month.
