The week ahead

A slow start to the week internationally, with the US observing Veterans Day today. It coincides with Remembrance Day in Commonwealth countries, including Australia, where a minute of silence will be observed at 11am.

NAB releases business confidence figures on Tuesday, with Westpac releasing consumer confidence figures.

Wednesday will see the ABS drop wage price index data, while in New Zealand it’s interest rates decision time, and in the US Fed Reserve chairman Jerome Powell testifies on the US economy before Congress. And there’s Employment data from the ABS on Thursday.

AVZ Minerals (ASX:AVZ) – capital raising
