WHAT GOT YOU TALKING YESTERDAY?

Chalice Mining (ASX:CHN) spinout Falcon Metals (ASX:FAL) was yesterday’s biggest winner after reporting multiple high grade gold hits at Ironbark East, part of the flagship Pyramid Hill project in Victoria.

Pyramid Hill was CHN’s No 1 focus before it hit the motherlode at Julimar, and is highly prospective for high-grade gold deposits like the nearby, world-class Fosterville mine.

According to the Victorian government there’s 32Moz of undiscovered gold in the North Bendigo zone where FAL has a dominant landholding.

Falcon Metals (ASX:FAL) has reported multiple high grade gold hits at Ironbark East, part of the flagship Pyramid Hill project in Victoria.

Highlights include 12m @ 6.18g/t gold from 74m, including 1m @ 52.9g/t from 77m – the highest-grade gold intercept to date at Pyramid Hill.

Mount Ridley Mines (ASX:MRD) is hitting thick and shallow clay rare earths at its namesake project in WA, including 35m at 1,999ppm TREO (26% MagREO) from 18m at the new Jodi prospect.

Bounty Oil & Gas (ASX:BUY) and its JV partner BPH Energy (ASX:BPH) have won a court battle over the PEP 11 exploration permit offshore NSW.

This ruling sets aside the decision made in March 2022 by then PM (and everything else) Scott Morrison, who overruled his resources minister to reject the offshore gas exploration permit in the lead-up to the election.
