Rise and Shine: Everything you need to know before the ASX opens

On Stockhead today, Peregrine reckons it can go better than 122,497g/t, copper juniors ready to produce in 2023, and it’s CPI week in Oz.

Stuffs to watch in Australia this week include Commsec’s state of the States today where no doubt Tassie will continue to show the nation how it’s done, just like it has in the cricket for decades.

Tomorrow, Judo Bank has shoehorned its way into the data release game, and gives us purchasing managers’ indexes; NAB drops its business survey; and we get weekly consumer confidence index.

Then Wednesday, the big one – the all-important consumer price index (CPI). Woo.

But first, the day ahead.

CuFe (ASX:CUF) took the late week honours, pumping 28% after news it has pushed the restart button on the small but high-grade JWD iron ore joint venture in the Pilbara, which shipped first ore in October 2021. Prices are now up ~50% from when mining activity was suspended, just one year later.

Graphite explorer Lincoln Minerals (ASX:LML) also jumped out of the blocks, after returning from the dead and relisting.

Its flagship is the Kookaburra Gully graphite project in South Australia, where the company will be focused on predevelopment drilling.
