For those people dodging social media don’t worry — this lunch wrap will be your oasis from GoT spoilers.
But we can talk about Endgame, and the fact it’s about to end Avatar’s decade-long reign as the biggest movie of all time.
(Which is a pretty amazing run for a movie that wasn’t even that great.)
Plus, the Detective Pikachu cinematographer is stoked that his “CGI monstrosities” look less awful than Sonic’s.
“And I’m sorry, I don’t care who I upset by saying that,” Pikachu’s John Mathieson says.
US markets, on the other hand, were looking good on Friday. Commsec says investors were encouraged by strong employment and wage growth data, supported by solid company earnings results.

Here are the key ASX small cap winners and losers at lunch Monday May 6:
Shares in Bubs Australia (ASX:BUB) have once again hit a new all-time high after launching a new range of organic, grass-fed cattle milk infant formula.
Robot house-shell builder FBR (ASX:FBR) has struck another joint venture this time with a local partner rather than a global behemoth — and its shares are going nuts.
Hawkstone Mining (ASX:HWK) was up 38 per cent in morning trade after hitting thick high grade (and shallow) lithium in Arizona, while fellow lithium play Liontown (ASX:LTR) was also up 35 per cent, this time on no news.
The WA explorer is now up almost 100 per cent since the start of May.
And Volvo likes an interactive VR experience from ServTech (ASX: SVT) so much it’s going to implement it, sending the stock up 18 per cent in morning trade.
The Italian subsidiaries of these companies signed a one-year agreement where ServTech will help Volvo roll out VR technology in its vehicles and sales operations.
