Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: Who’s looking mighty adorable today?

It’s probably not really much of a surprise to most, but royal baby Archie has inherited Prince Harry’s trademark feature – his red hair!

People magazine broke the news that Archie has “tufts of reddish hair”. Oh and apparently “he’s really adorable” (because pretty much all babies are).

And after yesterday’s anything but adorable hammering of the market, many will be hoping today will be different.

It’s a little better at least, in local markets this morning the ASX Small Ords index was only down 0.51 per cent to 2,773 points.

The ASX 200, however, was up 0.12 per cent to 6,417 points.

Going up

Eco-clothing maker Nanollose (ASX:NC6) announced it is using the fibres it grows via the fermentation of waste products to make wipes, via a deal with personal care wipe maker Codi Group.

This revelation sent shares up 43 per cent today.

Quantify Technology (ASX:QFY) jumped 25 per cent today after a third West Australian smart home provider signed on as a distributor.

Intelligent Home Technology Centre has joined Powerhouse Home Automation and Limitless Automation as a distribution partner.

Going down

oOh!media (ASX:OML) wiped off 25.3 per cent today after reporting a lower earnings expectation for FY19.

The company had been forecasting EBITDA of between $152m and $162m, but now expects to book between $125m and $135m.
