Fast food outlets are no Michelin Star restaurants (even if franchisees want them to be).
They can make mistakes, but one mistake they never ever make is not putting pickles on burgers. One McDonalds’ customer was particularly annoyed about getting a pickle on his burger and his viral rant resulted in him being banned from the store.
This divided social media. Some say they have every right to ban him and he had no right to treat the employee the way he did. Others say Maccas just shouldn’t serve pickles.
The ASX is in anything but a pickle this Friday. The ASX Small Ords gained 1.1 per cent to 2,844 points while the ASX 200 gained 1.17 per cent to sit at 6,584 points.
Today in data, the Australian private sector credit grew 0.2 per cent month on month and 3.1 per cent year on year. These were both in line with economist expectations unlike Wednesday’s construction figures. But dwelling approvals fell 3.2 per cent in July.
Going up

Petroleum explorer Key Petroleum (ASX:KEY) surged 36 per cent following a positive drilling update.

The exploration update of gold driller First Au (ASX:FAU) did not go down so well with shareholders. It’s down 39 per cent.
