Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: Who bought more than they bargained for today?

A New Zealand man is trying to sell 1,000 chickens that he accidentally bought in an auction for $1.50.
Stuff reports Steve Morrow was hoping to buy one bird, but was informed by the seller that he had purchased an additional 999.
“When the auction closed, I thought ‘this is great’, I could take as many birds as I wanted,” Morrow said. “But when I spoke to the man and he said it was for 1,000 hens … holy moly, I was stunned, I can tell you that.”
The ASX 200 was counting chickens today, up 0.07 per cent to 6,702 points, while the small ords was down 0.14 per cent to 2,913 points.
Syndicated Metals (ASX:SMD) gained 14 per cent before lunch after revealing a newly-acquired, early stage project resembles the +6 million-ounce Tropicana gold deposit.
Murray River Organics (ASX:MRG) is starting to enjoy a bit of sunshine after a lot of time in the dark — it says it has grown exports by 27 per cent year-on-year, largely thanks to Chinese interest in its health food products. Shares gained 10 per cent.
And Bionomics (ASX:BNO) continues to move on Monday’s good news that its BNC210 drug had received fast-track status from the US FDA, with shares climbing a further 15 per cent today.

The beleaguered Oliver’s Real Food (ASX:OLI) — aka those health food stores you see at outer servos — fell 14 per cent before lunch.
The company had been in trading suspension since the end of September, as it missed the deadline for publishing its FY19 results.
They came on October 31 — and they weren’t great — and so the stock fell when it resumed trading today.
