Resources tech player Orexplore Technologies (ASX:OXT) has snagged a commercial $1.55m agreement with none other than BHP (ASX:BHP) around the field deployment of Orexplore’s mobile field-scanning installation and technology to BHP’s Carrapateena copper mine in South Australia.
Orexplore will deliver site-based drill-core and sample digitisation services for BHP and the work will focus on bringing value to operations through “multiple OXT solutions”, according to the company.
Those solutions will involve “unlocking new rock mass characterisation and geometallurgical information to advance the short and medium-term mining and operational planning and decision processes”.
Corazon Mining (ASX:CZN) has signed a new exploration agreement with the Marcel Colomb First Nation (MCFN) of the Lynn Lake area in Manitoba, Canada, who are in “full support” of exploration and potential mining at the nickel sulphide project.
The agreement sets the framework for advancing a long-term relationship while working to negotiate an agreement that contemplates economic benefits to MCFN, should Corazon Mining re-establish mining within MCFN traditional territory.
It also elevates the MCFN as important stakeholders in the projects’ success, and in Corazon as shareholders.
The MCFN will be issued AUD$75,000 in shares (up to 5,267,338 shares at an issue price of $0.014 per share), with 1 Corazon option for each share issued (up to 5,267,338 options at an exercise price of $0.014 and a 3 year term), for continued support and engagement on the Lynn Lake project.
Resonance Health (ASX:RHT), a company providing services to clinical trials, announced a new contract worth $6.33m over 18 months with Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, an Indian based publicly listed multinational pharmaceutical company.
Under the agreement, Resonance, through its wholly owned subsidiary, CRO Services, will serve as CRO (Contract Research Organization) and local sponsor for Sun, engaging and making payment to the institutions, trial sites, and the vendors needed to conduct the clinical trial.
Resonance will also provide its imaging analysis services to Sun at various timepoints throughout the clinical trial, along with exploratory laboratory biomarker assessment services.
And Galena Mining (ASX:G1A) says significant high-grade assay results have been received for the Abra base metals project in WA after the data cut-off associated with the recent 2023 Mineral Resource Estimate. Notable results include: 18.9m @ 17.1% lead and 30g/t silver, and 38.3m @ 12.1% lead and 15.4g/t silver.
