Bumping resources out of the top spot today was EZZ Life Science (ASX:EZZ) off the back of its Q3 FY23 report which highlighted cash receipts from customers totalling $11.2 million, a 30% increase from the previous quarter and a 182% increase on the same period last year.
During the quarter, EZZ launched four new core products and two non-core products, including EZZ Children’s Eye Health, EZZ Magnesium Plus, EZZ Sugar Metabolism, EZZ Liver Detox, EZZ Hair Protector, and EZZ Complexion Refresh.
Other financial highlights included operating cash flows increased significantly by 371% from the previous quarter to $2.8m and the company’s cash position remains strong at $12.3 million at the end of Q3, an increase of ~$2.7 million compared to the previous quarter.
Video archive stock Linius Tech’s (ASX:LNU) announced its Whizzard product will be used in the IMG Replay service, “virtualizing the entire IMG Replay archive to make it more searchable and usable.”
IMG Replay customers, who include production companies, advertising agencies, broadcasters, news agencies, and content creators, will use Whizzard to search the vast archive to source specific fixtures, teams, individuals, and events to curate, produce, and licence video content.
“This is a significant validation of the power of our Linius Video Services (LVS) platform and the value unlocked by our Whizzard product for one of the world’s largest sports and media companies,” CEO James Brennan said.
“Whizzard is driving accelerated commercial momentum, with Linius adding four new clients in the last five months, leading to record billings in Q2 FY2023 that is expected to double in Q3.”
Western Mines (ASX:WMG) says drill hole MTD026 at its Mulga Tank nickel project is currently at ~400m depth “with significant examples of disseminated and remobilised nickel sulphides observed in top 250m.”
The top 250m on this hole appears to contain some of the richest shallow sulphide mineralisation seen so far, WMG managing director Dr Caedmon Marriott says.
The shallow mineralised footprint at Mulga Tank is now ~3.2km long, and “multiple deposits may well be expected given the scale of this clearly well mineralised system.”
And Omega Oil & Gas (ASX:OMA) says its Canyon-2 gas exploration well in Queensland’s Bowen Basin has returned better than expected net reservoir pay and porosity.
Earlier exploration at the site confirmed the presence of hydrocarbon shows within the Kianga and upper Back Creek Group Formations, and also returned better than expected interpreted porosities averaging more than 9%.
Porosity, which is the tiny spaces between the grains that make up rocks, is – along with permeability – one of the factors that determine if a discovery can produce gas or oil commercially.
Encouragingly, Canyon-2’s average porosity also exceeds that of BG’s (now Shell) Tasmania-1 discovery well, which flowed gas at a peak rate of 0.2 million cubic feet per gas after it was fracture stimulated and tested.
