Kalamazoo Resources (ASX:KZR) +45%

Kalamazoo has acquired the 1.65-million-ounce Ashburton gold project in the Pilbara region of WA from large cap miner Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST).

Kalamazoo aims to make new discoveries, substantially increase the 1.65-million-ounce gold resource, and “advance project development plans”.

The exploration team will be led by Kalamazoo’s WA-based director Paul Adams – who was formerly managing director of small cap success story Spectrum Metals (ASX:SPX).

Digital Wine Ventures (ASX:DW8) + 21%

Iconic wine brand Henschke and alcoholic kombucha maker New Wave Brewing Co are now using WINEDEPOT’s integrated logistics, trading and order management platform, Digital Wine Ventures said today.

“While our platform has been built with wine in mind, we’ve discovered that it can service producers of other alcoholic beverages such as craft spirits, beers, ciders and ready-to-drink products equally well,” chief exec Dean Taylor said.

“Together these emerging categories dramatically increase the potential addressable market of our integrated trading, order management and smart logistics platform.”

Strategic Elements (ASX:SOR) +20%

And shares in Strategic — which operates as a pooled development fund with a mandate to back innovative projects — also ticked sharply higher.

The company announced its subsidiary, Stealth Technologies, had filed a number of patents with regard to the development of its autonomous robotics platform.
