#2 mover Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) stole the show.
The explorer was up ~110 per cent on a big gold hit at the ‘Amazing Grace’ prospect, part of its Youanmi project in WA.
The highlight was a wide 25m interval grading 34.79 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 143m from surface.
Joint venture partner Venus Metals (ASX:VMC) also gained on the news, up almost 40 per cent for the day.
Race Oncology (ASX:RAC) has capped off a rise from 6c in mid-June last year to 48c this morning after demonstrating the cancer-fighting power of its Bisantrene drug.
And shares in beleaguered consumer-finance company Wisr (ASX:WZR) got a 35 per cent boost after monthly loan data from the company showed business was back on.
Chief exec Anthony Nantes said lending activity had now returned to “pre-COVID-19 origination levels”.
