It’s been a big week for IPOs, and that continued today as uranium explorer 92 Energy (ASX:92E) made an auspicious start to listed life.

The Canada-based company raised $5m from investors at 20c per share, and closed at 28.5c for a day-one gain of 43 per cent.

Also ticking higher was oil & gas junior Fremont Petroleum (ASX:FPL), which announced in the afternoon that it had secured improved terms as part of its agreement to acquire assets from the Indiana-based Trey Exploration, Inc.

Fremont said the second tranche payment of $US900,000 has been split so that the second half ($US450,000) isn’t payable until October, freeing it up to deploy some extra capital towards boosting production at the site.
