Closing Bell: Today’s biggest small cap movers on the ASX

Peppermint Innovation (ASX:PIL) is technically the biggest gainer — although that follows a one and a half year suspension. Peppermint raised $2.5 million last month to give it working capital. The fintech is working on payment solutions for the unbanked in the Philippines.

Peppermint’s shares closed at 3.2c, up 190 per cent from when they last traded.

Southern Hemisphere Mining (ASX: SUH) gained 62.9 per cent to 5.7c after releasing an investor presentation about its large scale copper/gold system in Chile.

New Age Exploration (ASX:NAE) advanced 27.3 per cent to 1.4c after an update on its drilling in the Pilbara.

Real Energy Corp (ASX:RLE) gained 26.5 per cent to 10.5c after announcing it would change its name to Pure Hydrogen Corp once its merger with Strata X Energy (ASX:SXA) is complete next month. SXA was up 19.2 per cent to 28c.

Losers

ASX100 component A2 Milk (ASX:A2M) has been the 15th-worst performer on the ASX today. The intellectual property commercialisation company, which has a market cap of around $7 billion, fell 16.2 per cent to $8.76 after lowering its guidance for the third time since September.

Amani Gold (ASX:ANL) was the worst performer, falling 33.3 per cent to 0.1c after announcing a board reorganisation.

Netccentric (ASX:NCL) dropped 32.8 per cent to 19.5c after the social commerce platform raised $3 million in a placement.
