Peppermint Innovation Limited is a company focused on the commercialisation of a proprietary Mobile Banking, Payments and Remittance technology, designed for banks, mobile money operators, remittance companies, payment processors, retailers/merchants, credit card companies, and microfinance institutions.
The focus of their initial efforts is in the Philippines, a country with a population of circa 100 million people and 105 million mobile phones in use, where over 4 years has been spent developing and integrating the technology which is currently being used by three leading commercial banks.
Peppermint aims to leverage a successful commercialisation strategy in the Philippines and build on established relationships in order to develop a commercial presence utilising the Mobile Banking, Payments and Remittance Platform further across Asia and beyond.
KEY PEOPLE
Christopher Kain, CEO & Managing Director
Practised Company Director with over 15 years’ experience in Finance and Investment Markets who is accomplished in identifying business opportunities and executing commercial strategies for the benefit of both stakeholders and investors. Mr. Kain has specific expertise in investment evaluation, public and private capital raising programs, debt funding strategies and, project development and financing.
Anthony Kain, Executive Director & Chairman
Former principal and special counsel in local and national law firms, Anthony has over 20 years’ experience working in Australian capital markets. He has played a key role in the formation of numerous privately owned and publicly listed companies and has an in-depth understanding of intellectual property and its commercialisation. He also has considerable experience as a director and also a Managing Director of Australian Securities Exchange listed companies operating foreign assets.
Matthew Cahill, Non Executive Director
Has experience in the web industry working across a broad range of technologies and has been involved in roles such as management, strategy, team lead, business analysis, application architecture and development.
