The latest gold company to hit the ASX Rincon Resources (ASX:RCR) closed on its first trading day 53 per cent higher than its IPO price.
Resources junior Latitude Consolidated (ASX:LCD) announced it had bought the Andy Well and Gnaweeda gold projects from Silver Lake Resources (ASX:SLR) for $8 million.
Mineral sands play Astro Resources (ASX:ARO) also rose with news of positive results from the first stage of bulk test work at its Governor Broome project.
Small cap oil stock Buru Energy (ASX:BRU) announced farm-out agreements with Origin Energy for its exploration portfolio in WA’s Canning Basin.
