Leading the charge were two Western Australian explorers with solid exploration results.
First was Gibb River Diamonds (ASX:GIB), up over 450 per cent after reporting a big gold hit at its Edjudina project in WA.
Second was Estrella Resources (ASX:ESR), which surged over 250 per cent after flagging “massive nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation” at its T5 prospect in Menzies, WA.
The biggest market moving news of the non-resources stocks came from AuMake (ASX:AU8) — a company that operated daigou (to buy on behalf of) stores but is pivoting online with Chinese tourism having dried up.
This morning it told shareholders it was teaming up with Shenzen Jiezhou Technology to launch a new e-commerce market place which would help Australian brands connect with Asian influencers.
