Today, Melbourne exited their 6th (and hopefully final) lockdown and international flights from Sydney were pencilled in.

The ASX fluctuated between red and green before closing a tenth of a point higher at 7,416 points. It is up 0.73% this week.

Flexiroam (ASX:FRX) rose after completing a capital raising – at a premium to its closing price.

In resources, Consolidated Zinc (ASX:CZL) rose thanks to an off-take agreement while QX Resources (ASX:QXR) told shareholders it exercised its option over the Turner River lithium project in WA.

Less than a year since listing Cashrewards (ASX:CRW) received a takeover offer and its shares also climbed this morning.

And BNPL company Laybuy (ASX:LBY) climbed after its latest market update.

ANNOUNCEMENTS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED

Piedmont Lithium (ASX:PLL) announced an updated global Mineral Resource Estimate for its Carolina lithium project. The MRE for the project is 44.2MT at 1.08% lithium.

Aussie Broadband (ASX:ABB) responded to NewsCorp reports that it was talking with Over the Wire Holdings (ASX:OTW) about a possible merger. The company confirmed the talks were live but no deal had yet been reached and there was no guarantee that any deal would eventuate.

Olivers Real Food (ASX:OLI) reported $263,267 in sales during September which was 90.20% down from 2019 levels. The company blamed lockdowns in NSW and Victoria, noting that sales in Queensland gained 5.8%.

TEK-Ocean Group (ASX:T3K) was chosen to install an artificial reef off the coast of Victoria. Although the financial windfall wasn’t revealed, the company said it would be one of potentially many such reefs in the future.

Uranium play Deep Yellow (ASX:DYL) announced an option agreement that will lead to the sale of its non-core Shiyela iron ore project. The ultimate purchase price will depend on the iron ore price but could be up to US$5 million.
