  • The all-natural, preservative-free drink ‘remixt’ will be sold through Coles’ First Choice Liquor Market stores from today
  • Remixt will tap into consumer demand for healthier and more sustainably produced beverages

Goodness Group Global is ready to shake up the summer drinks scene with its wine-based punch remixt launching in Coles’ First Choice Liquor Market stores today.

Tapping into a thirst for healthier and more sustainably made beverages, remixt is all-natural and preservative-free, with 8.5% alcohol compared with around 11-13% for wine, and comes in eco-friendly packaging.

It’s also catering for Australians who still want to get into the festive vibe despite the rising costs of living, making it the perfect candidate to be this summer’s hit new – and guilt-free – drink.

The 1L Tetra Pak, with a recommended retail price of $20, will be promoted throughout summer across Australia.

Forecast to trend

Goodness Group Global partner for remixt’s distribution Coles says it has seen a significant uptick in the ready-to-drink category as consumers move away from more expensive full-bottle spirits.

Remixt is designed to cater to this growing segment, specifically the 18-44 age group, and has teamed with some of Australia’s best DJs to curate playlists that are featured, via a QR code, on the packaging.

Goodness Global Group co-founder Drew Bilbe said: “Our commitment to innovation and quality has led to the launch of our first wine-based product that caters to the evolving tastes and values of consumers.

“It’s also Australian made with real juice and Aussie wine, and comes in mainly plant-based packaging that can be recycled.”

Goodness Global Group head of Sales APAC, Mike Williams, says the company is delighted to partner with Coles Liquor as a  ‘first to market’.

“Coles Liquor has been fantastic to collaborate with and it has a genuine ambition to innovate within the category. We are delighted to partner with them in First Choice where we know the team will get behind it and offer customers something different and delicious.”

Funds for growth

The launch coincides with Goodness Group Global securing nearly $4 million in the first tranche of its Series B funding round.

This substantial capital infusion is a key step towards the group’s larger goal to raise up to $20 million to fuel its ambitious international expansion strategy, with a particular focus on European markets.
