Stock analysis veteran and lover of the energy stocks game, Peter Strachan, is putting aside the Bloomberg terminal and picking up the microphone for another instalment of The Wildcatter Podcast.
In this episode Peter chats with Mark Thompson, managing director of Talga Resources (ASX:TLG).
Talga is building the largest European source of anode for lithium-ion batteries with an ultra-low CO2 supply chain and globally competitive pricing.
The company is leveraging off the very large, Vittangi graphite project in Sweden to develop graphite products and a graphene application.
Recently achieving REACH certification for European graphene production enables the company to proceed with development of applications in packaging and coating products.
The company is also applying some of its net ~$11m of cash towards development of next generation advanced graphite anode technology for application with lithium-ion batteries.
So tune in below to hear the pair discuss the battery boom, dominating anode production and 2020 plans.
