Nusantara Resources Limited is an Australian mining company which is focussed on growing shareholder value by developing and operating gold projects within the Asia-Pacific region. Nusantara owns a 100% interest in the Awak Mas Gold Project, located in the Luwu Regency of South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.
The project hosts an open pit Indicated and Inferred Resource of 54.0 Mt at 1.35 g/t Au for 2.35 Moz (April 2020) and an updated Ore Reserve of 1.53 Moz (June 2020).
KEY PEOPLE
Mr Neil Whitaker, Managing Director
Neil has over 40 years’ experience in the mining sector and has held operating and senior executive roles with companies such as Anglo American, WMC Resources, Clough Indonesia (Petrosea Tbk) and Newcrest Mining. Neil has extensive international operating experience with a demonstrated background in leading resource companies through the transitional stages of the full project life cycle
Mr Derek Humphry, Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
Derek has a strong background in both finance and mining, graduating from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics. Derek’s extensive experience includes financial management of resources companies during feasibility studies, financing and development of mines.
Mr Matt Timbrell, Project Director
Matt is a major project and study professional with over 25 years’ experience in both Indonesia and Australia. Matt’s experience includes multi-commodity minerals of gold, lithium, iron ore, nickel and copper. He has held key leadership roles delivering projects up to $500M and successfully delivering projects in both greenfield and brownfield environments.
