MinRex Resources Limited (ASX:MRR) (“MinRex” or “the Company”) is an exploration company, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, with its present focus being the exploration of gold and base metal projects in Western Australia.

MinRex currently holds five projects, four in the East Pilbara area of WA – the Daltons Gold Project, the Bamboo Creek Gold Project, the Marble Bar North Gold Project and the Marble Bar South Gold Project; as well as the Deflector Extended Gold Project at Gullewa in Western Australia

MinRex secured the Deflector Extended Project licence (E45/1657) and the Heemskirk Project licence (EL18/2011) prior to its initial Prospectus, dated 8 August 2011, by which it listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

Acquisition of a 70% interest in the four East Pilbara Project areas commenced in November 2017 and was finalized in February 2018. These four project areas are the Marble Bar North (P45/3040) and Marble Bar South Project (P45/3039) areas, and the Daltons Project (E45/4681) and the Bamboo Creek Project (E45/4560 & 4853).

  • Stuart Till | Chief Operating Officer

    Mr Till has more than 35 years’ experience as a successful geologist in mineral exploration and mining for numerous commodoties including, but not limited to, precious metals, base metals and industrial minerals.

    For the last 12 years, Mr Till has been a consultant and director to numerous companies, including Exploration Manager with Thor Mining PLC, Consultant Chief Geologist with Tennant Creek Gold, Davenport Resources, Orion Minerals, Bardoc Gold, and more recently Chief Geologist for Pilbara Minerals and Technical Director at Argent Minerals Ltd (ASX: ARD).

  • Mr James Bahen | Non-Executive Director

    Mr Bahen is a Corporate Advisory Executive and Chartered Secretary who commenced his career in audit and assurance with a chartered accounting firm. He is currently a Company Secretary to a number of ASX listed companies.

    Mr Bahen is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia (GIA) and holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Finance.

  • George Karageorge | Non-Executive Director

    Mr Karageorge is a geologist and is a rare, base and precious metal exploration expert with over 25 years’ experience in the mining sector.

    He has worked in senior technical and executive management roles for exploration and mining companies across the globe, including Western Mining Corporation, ASARCO, Anglo Gold Ashanti, Barrick Mines and Bluebird Battery metals, and is best known for his role as founding geologist and first registered alternate mine manager of lithium producer, Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX: PLS). Mr Karageorge is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Argent Minerals Ltd (ASX: ARD).
