Gateway Mining is pursuing the discovery of a large-scale gold system at its 1,000km2 Gidgee Gold Project, located in the heart of the prolific Murchison and Northern Goldfields in Western Australia. The company has established an initial 240,000 ounce Inferred Resource across two deposits at Gidgee, and is now undertaking a systematic exploration program to unlock further Resource growth and make new discoveries. A regional assessment has identified a series of highly prospective gold corridors that present a major opportunity for new discoveries, particularly shallow oxide gold deposits.
Gateway recently completed an oversubscribed, $7M share placement and is undertaking a further $2M share purchase plan to existing shareholders. The company’s strong balance sheet will enable it to unlock the full potential of the Gidgee Project through a systematic and sustained exploration effort. Drilling operations have recently commenced, and will continue over the next 18 months targeting extensions to existing deposits as well as new positions along the prospective Montague Granodiorite margin.
Gateway is led by an experienced management team with a track record of exploration success and delivery of significant returns to shareholders.
