Duke is an exploration company focussing on Copper, Gold and Silver discoveries in Qld & NSW. Duke’s 100% owned flagship project is the Bundarra tenement EPM 26499, a previously mined area dating back to the 1870’s where hand mining of visible high-grade copper spanned 40 years. Bundarra is a large granodiorite pluton located next to Bowen Basin coal mines between Moranbah and Mackay and represents a near mine development opportunity.
A fully funded exploration work program aims to drill out a maiden resource by mid-2021 at the Mt Flora prospect within the larger Bundarra tenement. In addition, the use of tightly targeted geophysical tools and exploration methods will focus on 3 of the 104 identified targets at Bundarra, aiming to show the potential scope and scale of the Bundarra tenement by mid-2021.
Two additional tenements; the adjacent Duania which covers a down dip extension of the Bundarra Pluton and Waitara a classic porphyry Cu-Mo deposit located 20km from Bundarra.
Duke’s Gold project, Prairie Creek EPM 26852, located about 25Kms south west of Biloela, in central Queensland will be advanced with a targeted exploration program to follow-up on work carried out in the 1980’s by CRA Exploration who drilled a single fence line on a large 14.4Km long gold geochemical anomaly. The best result from the drilling was an intersection of 52m @ 2.1g/t Au from surface with intercepts of 10m @3.2g/t and 6m @ 6.5g/t Au in the hole. Other untested geochemical targets exist within the tenement.
Red Hill EL 8562 represents an opportunity in the highly prospective Lachland Fold Belt of New South Wales. Drill targets will be planned for 2021. Duke also holds up to 10% free carried interests in four tenements in the Lachlan Fold Belt being explored by Emmerson Exploration.
