Boasting a technical team with proven track records of discoveries, Cosmo’s modest market capitalisation provides shareholders with substantial leverage to any exploration success from an exciting portfolio of mineral exploration assets.
In early 2024 Cosmo Metals Ltd acquired 100% of the Kanowna Gold Project (KGP) in the prolific Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The KGP is surrounded by world class gold mining infrastructure being located 10km northeast of Kalgoorlie and directly adjacent to Northern Star’s 7Moz Au Kanowna Belle gold mine.
Historical drilling intersecting high grade gold at the KGP has been shallow (typically <100m deep) and Cosmo now seeks to test exploration targets considered analogous to the geological controls at Kanowna Belle, less than 4km to the east. The KGP adds to Cosmo’s portfolio of highly prospective base metals and lithium exploration assets at its >800km² Yamarna Project in Western Australia – a region best known for the >6moz Au Gruyere Gold discovery.
