Aaron Sandilands is one of a kind. At 7 foot, he is the tallest player in the AFL, and made all his various coaches look short.
If he was American, the ideal destination would be the NBA. Bloomberg reported overnight NBA players exaggerating their height is becoming a significant problem for the league.
And it’s also players wanting to be shorter that’s causing a problem – actual 7-footers saying they’re 6’11 to avoid pressure.

Anyhoo, back to the markets, where many companies say they are tall but shareholders form their own opinions. Sometimes it’s the same and sometimes it’s not.
Our local markets rose again, following Wall Street. In addition to interest rates, there’s hope that proposed tariffs on Mexico may be at least delayed.
The ASX Small Ords was up 12 points to 2778 – or by 0.43 per cent; at 11.30am.
Going up
Creso Pharma (ASX: CPH) is being acquired by Canadian-listed cannabis firm Pharmacielo. This is the first takeover of an Australian cannabis company. Despite jumping 35 per cent, it’s only up to 56 cents, just short of Pharmacielo’s offer.
Arafura Resources (ASX: ARU) has increased as well, by 20 per cent, despite having no news today. But the rare earths sector has been hot since Wesfarmers gave Lynas the takeover side-eye back in April.
