The Unicorns Podcast connects you to some of the best and brightest founders, CEOs, executives, business owners, innovators, entrepreneurs and inspiring leaders who make things happen and inspire others.

Host Justin Kelly, former broadcast journalist and PR veteran, chats with leaders from across Australia and internationally on business strategy; what it takes to build a successful company; how to overcome challenges, and advice for those on a similar journey.

In this episode, Justin talks with Rod Bishop, co-founder and managing director of publicly listed global airport travel marketplace Jayride (ASX:JAY).

After co-founding the online booking system in 2012, Rod built Jayride from concept to major player in the global airport shuttle market. Since its listing on the ASX in 2018 the Australian company has expanded substantially through a global roll-out that now covers 95 per cent of world airport trips.

The company survived the turbulence of Covid-19 and with international travel back in full swing, Jayride is reaping the rewards of its continuous investment in technology, as it now serves 25 per cent more travellers than its pre-pandemic all time highs.

With Fidelity, Thorney and Acorn on the JAY register, there are big plans for 2023 and beyond.
