Special Report: ClearVue Technologies has strengthened its foothold in the Middle East with a five-year manufacturing and distribution agreement with Emirates Glass, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments and one of the region’s leading glass producers.
The non-exclusive deal gives Emirates Glass the right to manufacture and distribute ClearVue Technologies’ (ASX:CPV) patented solar façade solutions, significantly expanding production capacity and opening new market opportunities across the UAE and Middle East.
Established in 1989 in the UAE as a subsidiary of Glass LLC under Dubai Investments PJSC, Emirates Glass has become a force in the architectural glass industry, contributing to major projects across the UAE and beyond.
Operating one of the world’s largest single-site integrated glass processing facilities, spanning 400,000 square feet, Emirates Glass delivers a diverse range of high-performance glass products.
Its focus is to provide cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the architectural and construction sectors while upholding high standards of quality and environmental responsibility.
Partnership creates powerful synergy in sustainability
ClearVue integrates solar technology into building façades and rooftop surfaces to generate renewable energy and reduce the operational carbon footprint of buildings.
Its advanced, patented glass technology preserves transparency and aesthetics while producing clean energy.
The company has extended solar generation into vision glass, cladding, spandrels, balustrades, and skylight solutions – enabling significant offsets to operational energy demands and contributing meaningfully to net-zero building outcomes.
Its integrated solar façade is helping transform the way buildings are designed, constructed, and renovated.
ClearVue CEO Doug Hunt said partnering with Emirates Glass “further substantiates the credibility and commercial viability of ClearVue Solar Façade solutions”.
Together, the companies are well positioned to accelerate the adoption of building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solutions across the Middle East.
“Emirates Glass is renowned for its consistent delivery of large scale, prominent projects and has an established reputation of reliability, adaptability and modernisation with architects, developers and contractors,” he said.
“Combining the Emirates Glass standing in the industry with the patented, proprietary advancements in solar technology from ClearVue is taking building sustainability to new heights in the UAE and beyond.”
Emirates Glass backs ClearVue’s solar façade vision
Emirates Glass executive president Rizwanulla Khan said the company sees its manufacturing expertise and ability to deliver volume production capacity as an important contribution to the partnership with ClearVue.
“ClearVue solar technology advancements marry seamlessly with our mission to actively support sustainable urban development and advances in energy efficient building glazing and façade materials,” he said.
“Together, Emirates and ClearVue will intensify the momentum for broad deployment of Building Integrated Photovoltaic solutions.”
He said Emirates Glass looked forward to working across its ecosystem of industry leaders to integrate ClearVue technologies into forthcoming building projects.
“Becoming a ClearVue Licensee and manufacturing and distribution partner is tightly aligned with our longstanding corporate commitments to our global environment.”
