Special Report: Brisbane-based personalised audio technology provider Audeara has tuned into strong growth for Q1 FY26, with unaudited revenue reaching $1.05m – a 46% increase on the prior quarter.
Audeara (ASX:AUA) said growth was underpinned by strong sales into Australian wholesale channels, which continue to expand quarter on quarter.
A recognition of revenue from music instrument manufacturer Avedis Zildjian for deliveries under a follow-up purchase order via its AUA Technology division also boosted revenue growth in Q1.
Audeara recently announced a significant step towards expanding into the Chinese medical device market by securing a five-year licensing deal with Eastech (Huizhou), a subsidiary of Taiwan-listed Eastech Holding.
The company said the deal had potential to drive further sales growth in H2 CY25.
Expansion opportunities with Eastech are set to be complemented by additional sales through Australian wholesale groups, retail channels, key resellers, and ongoing collaborations via its AUA Technology division.
Dual finalist in Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards 2025
In further good news for Audeara investors, the company has been named a finalist in two national categories at the 35th Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards including:
- International Health – recognising outstanding international success in health, medical, or wellbeing sectors
- Small Business – celebrating outstanding international export achievements by a small business
The awards dinner will be held in Brisbane on October 10, with national category finalists progressing to the Australian Export Awards in Canberra in November.
Audeara has also been selected as a finalist in the Hong Kong – Australia Business Association (HKABA) Business Awards, which honour excellence in international trade and business ties between Australia and Hong Kong SAR/China.
The awards ceremony will take place in Brisbane on October 14, 2025.
Ongoing international expansion to boost growth
CEO and managing director Dr James Fielding said the trading update highlighted ongoing consolidation of revenue momentum during Q1 FY26.
“Growth can be attributed to the recognition of the follow-up purchase order from Zildjian, one of the world’s largest music instrument manufacturers, reflecting strong market traction for the AUA Technology division and providing a foundation for additional high-margin revenue,” he said.
“This is complemented by strong sales into Australian wholesale channels for our established product suite.
“Looking ahead, we anticipate further growth through ongoing international expansion opportunities and hardware sales.”
