The deal will see Envirosuite’s technology positioned across a client list of major global companies and organisations.

Envirosuite (ASX:EVS) is gaining traction across a global client base with its market-leading software solution for real-time environmental intelligence.

And that momentum was further confirmed this morning, with the announcement of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a key strategic partnership with Aeroqual – a global air-quality monitoring platform that’s based on smart sensing technology and advanced software algorithms.

Under the terms of the MoU, the two sides will integrate their respective technology suites to create a combined value proposition serving major customers across the mining, general waste, wastewater and industrial sectors.

Shares in EVS rose by more than 4% following the announcement, to 23.5c.

Global rollout

In line with today’s announcement, the two companies are already engaged on projects in Spain, Malaysia and the USA where the combined product offering is adding value for clients.

Aeroqual’s platform provides a proven solution to improve the ease and accuracy of air quality monitoring, combining smart instrumentation, cloud software, and unique virtual calibration technology (MOMA).

Demonstrating the strength of its existing customer base, Aeroqual serves an array of major companies and organisations including AngloGold Ashanti, the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.

Aeroqual “have offices in the United States of America and China and are represented by a global network of partners”, EVS said.

And to further complement its technology under the strategic partnership, Aeroqual streams air quality data directly onto Envirosuite’s environmental intelligence software platform, in turn providing an additional layer of data analysis and broader insights.

Commenting on the announcement, Aeroqual CEO Mark Templeton said the strengths of the company’s technology will be further enhanced by joining forces with Envirosuite’s leading software.

“Aeroqual’s air quality monitoring platform is trusted by customers all over the world and will add significant value to Envirosuite’s environmental software platform, allowing us to solve even more complex air quality challenges for more customers across multiple industrial sectors,” Templeton said.

For Envirosuite CEO Jason Cooper, the deal is both commercial validation of the company’s technology and demonstrative of its ability to execute on a global distribution strategy.

The combined product offering “has the potential to help industries to transform their environmental management practices and accelerate growth within Mining, Waste, Wastewater and Industrial facilities”, Cooper said.
