What’s to mine in Cote d’Ivoire? Why is it worth mining in West Africa? And what hurdles are there?

Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) executive chairman Travis Schwertfeger joins the Stockhead TV studio to investigate these questions and more.

“The average time to develop a mine globally ranges from 10-20 years with the average being close to 17 years. Cote d’Ivoire itself is closer on the 10-11 year range, so one of the quicker areas to make discoveries and take into production,” Schwertfeger explains.

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with Travis Schwertfeger to learn about mining on the Ivory Coast and what’s currently happening on the ground.
