Impact Minerals (ASX:IPT) is progressing exploration works at its high-purity alumina (HPA) Lake Hope project in Western Australia, which caught the eye of BHP as the major placed the small cap spelunker under its six-month Xplor accelerator program in a class of peers including Kingrose Mining and Nordic Nickel.

Preliminary feasibility studies are progressing steadily at Lake Hope with significant groundwork already made on metallurgical testing and new results expected in Q1 next year.
